Thank you all for your support and encouragement. It is hard to believe, but it's time for our first update!
Things have been really exciting over here at Letters in Motion. Our very first release on November 11th was a great success. It is so much fun to see our creation come to life and even more fun to read the comments of the people using it.
We have really taken these comments to heart, reveling in the superlatives and challenging ourselves with the criticisms. In doing so, I think we have put together a great first update.
1.0.4 is a small update without a lot of glitz and glamor, but with a huge amount of user experience and support fixes.
Rendered Video Support
One of the most frequent comments we received was from iOS users trying to find their rendered video. To assist with this problem, we have made some changes to the look of the Rendering Editor, adding support links and better work flow.
We have done our best throughout the tool to predict the types of errors that might occur and put in to place barriers that will keep them from happening. In this update, we have continued that trend by adding more error catchers and a project loading error screen that will allow users to send corrupted files to Support for rescue.
Equalize is the Scale tool's newest option. It allows users to equalize the length of segments in the Timeline with a push of the button. Simply select two or more segments, then tap Equalize to make them the same length.
The Duplicate option that has been available on the Project Timeline is now also available on the Animation Timeline. Select an animation segment, then tap Duplicate to duplicate the animation. With Letters in Motion's nonlinear animation, this can create some fun effects.
Hope you all enjoy the new update. Please stay tuned for a big update coming soon.
